in 1613 galileo letters on sunspot was published in rome where he discovered sunspots which are dark area of irregular shape on the surface of the sun he prove aristotle view on the sun was incorrect and it wasnt a perfect sphere without imperfection. he did this by visual proving it by using his telescope where he projecting the sun image through it onto a sheet of paper which had a circle drawn on it already and then lined this up to the imaged and then traced the spots directly on the paper winkler and helden 1992 \\cite{sunspots}. figure 1 below show galileo sunspots drawing.
