The science fiction novel, Ender’s Game is written by uOrson Schott Card. It is about a young boy who is sent to battle school. He meets friends and makes adversaries. In battle school, out in space, Ender, the young boy is a genius and is taught many tactics to destroy their prime enemy the buggers. He excels in school and battles his way into command school before the required age. There he is told he is battling buggers in simulations or is he? Throughout the novel, Ender is manipulated, bullied, and isolated, which creates many themes and messages. In this novel Ender’s Game the main theme is life is a game. Three characters that best prove this are Ender, Peter, and Bonzo.

In this novel, Ender shows responsibility. When Ender was leading his army he was mostly on time for battles even when Ender got the unfair one with Bonzo. Ender also got bullied a lot. When Bonzo and some guys gained up on Ender in the shower room and tried to hurt him instead he hurt Bonzo really bad and found out that he killed Bonzo. Later on in the book Ender founds out that he killed Stilson which was hid from him for years. Ender took full responsibility saying that he did it and took charge.
Ender Lets more ideas in to help! Most military armies are usually lead by one soldier or leader which can make the army easy to beat. But since Ender is smart he kept on asking his army on how they can improve. Ender also lets his army come up with ideas for new moves and new strategies so they have different techies to win the battles.

He cares for others; Ender has a big heart like he has a smart head. Even though Ender does not always show that he cares for others because he can be harsh Ender does. In Chapter 11 page 198, Ender is talking to Bean. Bean wants to be a toon leader and Ender does not think he is ready but he sees Bean is ready so he said maybe and told Bean that he was wrong about him. I think the reason didn’t want Bean to be a leader was because Ender could have been scared for Bean and didn’t want Bean to end up like Ender. Overall, Ender is taking responsibility for his actions which impacts the story a lot.
